Reenable internal library/store links in iTunes 10.0.1

Hey, it’s been a while! I just found out you can reenable the little arrows allowing you to swiftly jump to an album/artist/genre (and get rid of pesky Ping) in iTunes 10.0.1. This is one thing I’m still desperately missing on my iPhone as well.

In a terminal, execute the following

  1. defaults write com.apple.iTunes disablePingSidebar 1
  2. defaults write com.apple.iTunes hide-ping-dropdown 1
  3. defaults write com.apple.iTunes show-store-link-arrows 1
  4. defaults write com.apple.iTunes invertStoreLinks 1

      yah, somehow you have to exercise the blogging, otherwise you get rusty.
